This mural was a part of the inaugural ArtisNow public art program, lead by Osceola Arts. Our design concept was based upon local history and folklore, incorporating imagery of the area's agricultural past and ties to the railroad, and then transforming them into a vision of a robotic future. This piece was painted upon heavy stucco in the heat and rain of Florida's May (summer). At the time it was our biggest project to date, and one that we were (and still are) very excited to have been a part of.
