“Most evenings, my wife and I walk down the country roads of our neighborhood and discuss the events of the day. These evening strolls and long conversations have played a major role in establishing direction in our lives, especially in making the decision to go full time with my art as a career. 
 
These walks are a gift, and we are fortunate to have a variety of wildlife regulars that join us, including a number of gopher tortoises. This print was inspired by our animal companions, paying tribute to their stead-fast presence in our lives during tumultuous times.”
