In the Fall of 2019 the Audubon Park Garden District launched a public art initiative in which local artists were invited to produce works featuring native Florida endangered bird species. For this project we depicted a Red Cockaded Woodpecker in a clean and somewhat geometric style. For this project we used paint masks (pre-cut custom made stencils) and spray paint to achieve the sharp edges we desired.

This piece is located at East End Market in the courtyard and is often a backdrop for local plant sellers and diners visiting the establishment.
